This is several days late now, but oh well. We only had his birthday party on Saturday so I guess it's not that late!
Ryley's birthday was actually on Dec. 3, last Monday. He got diagnosed with Strep. throat on the Saturday before but I think he was feeling better by Monday. He got to go to school on his birthday, which he was totally excited about. He took some treats for his classmates and everyone sung him Happy Birthday there! That night we went to eat at his favorite place (besides home) - Jason's Deli. Grandma was even able to come with us. She brought Ryley a special present - a Webkinz of his very own!!!! Yippee!!! I don't know who is more excited about it, me or him! Maddie got a Webkinz for her birthday back in July and loves playing on it. For those of you who don't know, Webkinz is a little beanie baby type stuffed animal that comes with a secret code that you can use to go online and open up an account just for you and your pet. There are tons of games online plus you get to earn money, feed your pet, build a house for your pet, get a job, go to school, and do tons of other stuff. Maddie and Ryley both loved playing on it, but there are some things that you can only do once a day and they would constantly fight over who got to do what. Now Ryley has his own and they can both do everything! Unfortunately, we only have one computer so now they just fight over who gets to play on it. It never ends!Anyway, back to the birthday! We had a Spiderman party for Ryley with some of his friends.
They wore Spiderman masks, played stick the mask on Spiderman, had cake and ice cream, opened presents, and mostly just played together. The weather was so warm they were able to play outside and on the trampoline. Fun times!
On Sunday, we had some ice cream cake for Brianne and Ryley. Brianne's birthday was Dec. 8, so they shared a pie and got to blow out the candles together.

P.S. Happy Birthday to Covey too! He turned 3 on Dec. 1!

Happy Birthday, Ryleysan! Wish I could have been there for the festivities. Looks like you guys had fun, even without me. And kudos to mommy for timely and frequent posts -- that's more than I can say for Aunt Caitlin! :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYLEY!!! I can't believe he's 5!!!! HOLY COW!!!! Okay...so you guys have a trampoline? where was I? Oh yeah... illinois! Anyways, SOO FUN! Love you guys!
Glad Ryley got over his sickness in time to party with his school friends. He really cleaned up this year! Ah, to be five again.
