Tuesday, the 28th, was the day the sun finally decided to shine! We took full advantage and spent the day on the lake.
Beaver Lake is a really beautiful lake. The water is super clear. I was worried that it would be super cold but it really wasn't bad at all. Much warmer than I expected.
There was lots of taking in the lovely views.
Lots of stopping so the kids could play. These two spent hours jumping off the back of the boat - literally. So fun to watch them!
There was quite a bit of tubing but a lot of just playing in the tube while we're stopped too. That's Sawyer's favorite thing to do. He loves to dive headfirst from one side of the tube into the other, scaring his mother to death. He moves so freaking fast! I barely have enough time to swim to one side of the tube before he's flipped into the other side. (FYI - someone is always in the water with him while he's on the tube - usually holding onto his life jacket because he has no fear! Josh was there, holding on to the rope just out of view of the camera.)
Sawyer loves to sit in the tube since that's what he sees the big kids do.
Lots of Daddy trying to drive with his "helper" so Mommy could take some pictures.
Lots of eating of Swedish Fish to keep this kid occupied long enough for Mommy to take some pictures.
Lots of hearing, "Look at Mommy!"
Mostly lots of fun though! Daddy even finally got to use his wakeboard. He'd tried to get up on it several times before this trip, but due to driver-error (that's me!) it just hadn't happened. We finally figured it out though and he was able to wakeboard for quite a while. Yay!
