This is going to the first of many catch-up posts - just FYI.
We were able to go back to the 4th ward for the Pinewood Derby. Second ward had already had theirs so 4th ward graciously let us crash theirs. It was lots of fun to see all our friends! Sadly, this was Ryley's last Pinewood Derby. We really hoped that this would be the year his car wasn't a dud. But, not so much. He still had fun though.

Now repeat that process four more times and that was our night.
Luckily Ryley isn't too emotional about these things. It did seem to bother him a little bit this year compared to other years but he shook it off pretty fast. He did get some awards though so that made everything better.
I'm kinda sad that this was his last year. In December he'll be moving up to the Boy Scouts and then we'll get a brief reprieve before Cash starts Cub Scouts. But only for six months!
