Ryley earned his Webelo badge this summer. Josh was also called as Cubmaster this summer and this was his first time running Pack Meeting in our new ward. Ryley has worked really hard to get this badge and is still working on completing a few more requirements to earn his Arrow of Light before he turns 11.
This kid is turning into such an awesome young man. He is really stepping up as the big brother of the family. We love him so much and are so grateful he's part of this family! He's pretty stinking handsome too. (So's that Cubmaster.)
Sawyer insisted on sitting with all the Scouts at Pack Meeting and had to come up and get his face drawn on with Ryley too. He just cannot wait to be one of the big boys! I am not ready for my little guy to grow up though! (Like Ryley's almost toothless grin? He's lost four teeth in the couple of weeks that we've been home from China. He's just got those four left there in the front and it looks so weird to me!)
The little sisters are not fans of the new to us double stroller. The side-by-side stroller maneuvers really well but it doesn't work well when you have one child that hates to be touched and shrieks at the top of her lungs at even the notion of it and another child that loves to touch, and pinch, and grab, and poke, and scratch. . . you get the picture? Lots of shrieking and Mommy leaning over with her arm between the two seats the entire time makes for a not very fun Pack Meeting! I think we'll be putting the stroller we got off of Craigslist back on Craigslist. :(
