Easter 2014

This was the girls’ first Easter and they had lots of fun! Some friends of ours through a huge Easter party every year and we were finally able to go!  They have a huge backyard so it was perfect for an egg hunt.  The girls caught on quickly.  And yes, my kids collect Easter eggs in plastic grocery bags.  That’s how we roll.

After gathering their eggs the little kids were playing on a swing set, along with about 20 other kids.  Emily walked too close behind the swings and got a swing to the face.  Knocked her right over.  Thankfully, someone immediately ran and got an ice pack for her (I wasn’t there). She laid like this on Daddy for quite a while.  I could tell right away that it was gonna be a nice shiner.

This annual party is so awesome that the Easter Bunny is invited!  So fun!

Sawyer and Em were cool with her/him? but Grace wasn’t having any of it!

The next day we got everyone ready for church early and set up the tripod in the front yard for some pictures since we haven’t had a new family picture since the girls came home.  Even with Em’s black eye!

And here’s our normal picture.  Cash cracks me up!

This doesn’t have anything to do with Easter but they are pictures I want to post and remember.  My mom made the girls the cutest quilts ever for Christmas.
